Snack. Apple hand pies. Dinner.  (Indian) soy nuggets, with pita bread. Fruit of the Day. Apple and blackberry. Workout.  M. and I went for a 3-mile walk, but I didn't do the sit-ups.

Snack. We had to grab a rod of jerky while at ShopRite because M. said that she was feeling somewhat woozy. Back home, we each had a toast, topped with Nutella and banana. Dinner. We had a hearty helping of a whipped feta,  with pita wedges and roasted cipollini onions. If there’s one change I’d make, it’d be this: sear the white end of a bunch of scallions.  Fruit of the Day. Banana.  Workout. We walked 3 miles, but I had no time for any other exercise.

Snack. Lava cake. Dinner.  Salmon, baked in garlic-honey sauce, with rice; roasted broccoli on the side.   Workout. 30-minute-run. Sit-ups. I genuinely couldn’t believe that I’d be able to make chocolate lava cake at home and have it perfectly baked and invert it on a plate in my maiden attempt. But that’s what happened.

Workout. 1.5-mile walk. Sit-ups. There was absolutely nothing usual about our meal today (thanks, to M. deciding to change her plans at the eleventh hour.) We consumed a ton of fat and carbohydrate. The protein almost seemed like an afterthought. There was Hillshire Farm’s Lit'L Beef Franks, a stack of Pringles chips and a can of Carlberg pilsner.

Dinner.  Olive-oil braised chickpeas and carrots, served with Fage's thick Greek yogurt.  Workout. 3-mile-walk. Sit-ups. We went to Starbucks, where we had a cup of coffee and a slice of banana bread each.
