Snack.  Grilled chicken from KFC.  Dinner. Coconut rice,  garnished with habanero and scallions; roasted broccoli, on the side. Also: a glass of Tazo iced tea. We've decided to cancel KFC as M. has begun to detest its offerings. She finds the chicken to be inadequately seasoned.

Snack. Baked egg, with buttered toast. (In the future, throw in a lot more cheese to the egg mixture as well as add a layer in the bottom of the ramekin.)  Dinner.   Roasted pork tenderloin, with peach gastrique; green beans, on the side. Also: a glass of sparkling cider. The next time I make gastrique, I should check out this video.   Fruit of the Day. Peach.

Snack. Raspberry jam sandwich.  Dinner. Pork (tenderloin) medallions, braised in coconut milk.   Pickled carrot, cucumber and ginger, on the side.   Also: a glass of sparkling cider. We'd saved our Christmas pudding for New Year's Eve.

Snack. Smorrebrod (with cucumber and smoked sardine.) Dinner.  Butter-roasted salmon, with rice; roasted okra, on the side. Also: a glass of prosecco.  Fruit of the Day. Naval orange.
