Snack.  Two kinds of toasts: one topped with tuna; the other, with Nutella and banana.  Dinner. B.L.T. (For bread, I worked with the regular sandwich bread. But I shouldn't make it too toasted.) Fruit of the Day. Banana.

After a little over three months of consuming cereals, we had oats for breakfast. Snack.  Pita, stuffed with egg, feta, scallions and roasted red bell pepper tapenade.  Dinner.  Stir-fry shrimp (and calamari.) Fruit of the Day. Sapphire grapes. This is the most unusually shaped grape I ever had. It’s a tubular grape, about two inches long and very sweet.

Snack. Bulgarian  eggplant dip, with garlic toast. Dinner. Chicken, made into curry from a jar. (Warning: We must never buy jarred curry because it leaves behind a strong, lingering odor.)

Fall descended on us, overnight, literally. We woke up to a temperature in the early 50s Fahrenheit. I seized the opportunity to bake a sweet treat. So, we had Dutch Baby for brunch. And I made it in my Lodge pan to boot. It turned out quite excellent. Dinner.  Fried cod and roasted potatoes.
