Snack. I choose my bars wisely. As far as protein bars go, the one I had today was palatable. Pure Protein's Chocolate Deluxe has 21 grams of protein; 3, sugar; and 180 calories.

I asked M. to grab a cheeseburger from McDonald's.   

In the late afternoon, M. and I shared a cheese-and-lettuce sandwich. 

Dinner. Drumsticks; a wedge of iceberg lettuce, with a homemade spicy Caesar dressing, on the side. Lesson: Don't bake or roast with any marinade that has sriracha for base.  

Workout. 40-minute-run.


SPICY CAESAR DRESSING. 
Makes about 1 cup.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil.
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar.
  • 1½ tablespoons lemon juice.
  • 1/2 tablespoon Asian chili paste.
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced anchovies.
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated.
