Snack. We had coffee and banana bread at the local Starbucks as well as half a bar of Godiva’s dark chocolate. 

Dinner. Pork chops, braised in coconut milk, with rice noodles. And where did we braise it? In Guy Fieri’s enameled cast-iron braiser. Also: a glass of a (German) sweet red wine.

Workout. 3-mile-walk. Sit-ups. To top that, I also hefted a 15-pound kitchen utensil.
